Cone beam CT

3D Cone Beam CT is a modern diagnostic methodology that allows imaging in cross-sections (tomography) and generates a three-dimensional (3D) image.

Computerized 3D reconstruction allows for the analysis of more information, eliminating image interpretation issues caused by the overlap of different anatomical structures.

In this way, the physician can define the most appropriate therapy and/or surgical treatment for the specific case in a targeted manner.

This methodology is technically made possible by the emission of a cone-shaped radiation beam (hence 'Cone').
